Former U.S. National Team member Norah Flatley has signed a national letter of intent and will enroll at UCLA in Fall 2018.
"Norah is known internationally for her gorgeous lines and seemingly effortless quality to her gymnastics," said UCLA head coach Valorie Kondos Field. "We are excited to bring not only her grace and beauty but her heart and character to our team."
Flatley, who trains at Chow's Gymnastics, was a two-time member of the U.S. Junior National Team (2013-14 and 2014-15). Internationally, she won the balance beam title in the junior division at the 2014 Pacific Rim Championships, as well as at the City of Jesolo Trophy in both 2014 and 2015. She finished third in the all-around and second on bars at the 2014 P&G Championships and was fifth all-around and second on beam in 2013. Flatley competed in Level 10 in 2018 and won the uneven bars at the Iowa State meet.
She will join current U.S. senior national team member Margzetta Frazier and two-time Level 10 National vault champion Sekai Wright as UCLA freshmen for the 2019 season.
