LOS ANGELES - The third-seeded Bruins needed to win twice on Sunday and did just that, defeating Cal State Fullerton 3-0 and 6-4 at Easton Stadium to advance to next weekend's Super Regionals.

UCLA will host No. 14-seed Arizona in Supers at Easton. The best 2-of-3 series begins on Thursday at 6 p.m., continues on Friday at 6 p.m. and concludes if necessary on Saturday at 4 p.m. Three-day passes are available here. Single-day passes will be available on the day of the game only at Easton Stadium, starting 90 minutes prior to first pitch. Thursday and Saturday's games will air on ESPN, while Friday's contest will be televised on ESPN2.

In game one, redshirt sophomore Rachel Garcia (24-3) struck out six in a complete-game shutout, allowing just three hits and a walk. She had 1-2-3 innings in the first, third and fifth, striking out one in every inning but the fifth. Offensively, six different Bruins combined on six hits.

UCLA (53-5), batting as the visitor, scored twice in the top of the fourth. With one out, redshirt freshman Aaliyah Jordan singled through the right side and Garcia reached on an infield single to short. Sophomore Jenna Crawford came in to run for Jordan, and one out later, sophomore Bubba Nickles doubled to right-center to bring in Crawford and Garcia to make it 2-0.

In the fifth, the Bruins added another run. Junior Paige Halstead led off with a walk, and was pinch-run for by junior Imani Johnson, who moved to second on a grounder by freshman Kinsley Washington and home on an RBI single up the middle by senior Kylee Perez to bring the lead to 3-0.

The best chance for Cal State Fullerton (35-24) came in the second after one-out singles by Bryanna Ybarra and Zoe Richard and a two-out walk to Shianne Brannan, but Garcia got a strikeout of Sam Kennedy to end the threat. The Titans had only three baserunners for the rest of the game.

In game two, Garcia (25-3) again went the distance, striking out six and giving up four runs (two earned), four hits and four walks. She had 1-2-3 innings in the first, fifth and sixth, striking out two in the sixth and seventh frames.

UCLA (54-5) had 10 hits from six different players, as Jordan, Nickles, Kylee Perez and freshman Briana Perez each posted two-hit contests.

Nickles got the Bruins on the board in the bottom of the second, belting her eighth homer of the season to right-center.

Cal State Fullerton (35-25) scored a pair of runs in the top of the third on a two-run single by Deshea Hill, but the Bruins would tie things up with a run in the fourth. Jordan reached second base following an infield single and an overthrow, and was pinch-run for by Crawford, who moved to third on a passed ball and scored on a Nickles single to left to make it 2-all.

In the fifth, the Bruins broke it open with four runs. Washington led off with a double to left-center, moved to third on a Kylee Perez sacrifice and scored on a Briana Perez single to left to make it 3-2. Following a Jordan single to left, Garcia launched her 10th homer of the season to left to increase the advantage to 6-2.

The Titans would score twice in their last at-bat in the seventh on RBI doubles by Sammie Vandiver and Ybarra, and had the tying run at the plate, but Garcia struck out Richard to send the Bruins to the Super Regionals.
