Bruins Ranked No. 4 in Preseason Coaches Poll

The 2020 UCLA Gymnastics team will begin the season ranked No. 4 in the preseason rankings, as voted on by the coaches of the Women's Collegiate Gymnastics Association.
The Bruins totaled 1,671 points and one first-place vote, finishing just nine points behind No. 3 Florida, who had 1,680 points and two first-place votes. Defending NCAA Champion Oklahoma is No. 1, with 1,813 points and 36 first-place votes, and 2019 NCAA runner-up LSU is No. 2 with 1,755 points and 11 first-place votes. The Pac-12 has three teams in the Top 10 - No. 4 UCLA, No. 5 Utah and No. 9 California.
UCLA will face 10 teams in the Top 36 this season, starting off with a bang against three Top 25 teams in the season opener in Anaheim - No. 1 Oklahoma, No. 9 California and No. 22 Stanford. Also on the season slate are home matchups against No. 18 Boise State on Jan. 12, No. 17 Washington on Jan. 31, No. 31 Arizona on Feb. 9, No. 5 Utah on Feb. 23 and No. 9 California on Mar. 8. The Bruins are on the road against No. 23 BYU on Jan. 18, No. 22 Stanford on Jan. 27, No. 21 Arizona State on Feb. 15, and No. 11 Oregon State on Feb. 29.
The Bruins return all but three routines from last season's NCAA Championships and have eight All-Americans on the squad - reigning NCAA vault and floor exercise co-champion Kyla Ross, Grace Glenn, Felicia Hano, Madison Kocian, Gracie Kramer, Nia Dennis, Margzetta Frazier and Norah Flatley.
