UCLA Returns Home From Last Chance College Elite Meet

SEATTLE โ The UCLA track & field team finished its performance at the Last Chance College Elite Meet on Friday night, led by a second-place finish from sophomore Tate Curran in the pole vault.

Redshirt senior Elleyse Garrett opened the day for the Bruins, logging a fourth-place finish in the pole vault after clearing 3.98m (13-0.75) on her second attempt at the height.

Curran represented UCLA in the men's pole vault, taking second place after he cleared 4.99m (16-4.5) on his first attempt.

To cap the meet, the foursome of senior Cameron Stone, junior Riley Kelly, junior Carter Blunt and redshirt junior Arturo Sotomayor took fourth in the distance medley relay, crossing the finish line at the 9:34.63 mark.

UCLA is back on Feb. 22-23 at the MPSF Championships, as well as the Seattle Pacific Final Qualifier on Feb. 23.
