School Record Nine Bruins Earn All-Pac-12 Honors

A school record nine UCLA gymnasts earned a total of 16 All-Pac-12 honors in 2019, the most ever by a Bruin team and the most in the conference this season.

Pac-12 Gymnast of the Year Kyla Ross was the only gymnast to receive first-team honors on all four events and the all-around. The 2019 Pac-12 all-around, bars and floor champion now has 12 career all-conference honors.

Pac-12 Specialist of the Year Katelyn Ohashi was a first-team honoree on the two events on which she won conference titles this year – balance beam and floor exercise – bringing her total of all-conference awards to seven.

Also receiving first-team honors were Pac-12 champions Felicia Hano (vault) and Grace Glenn (beam), along with Madison Kocian (bars).

Receiving second-team acclaim were Nia Dennis (vault), Norah Flatley (bars, beam), Margzetta Frazier (bars), Gracie Kramer (floor) and Hano (floor).

The All-Conference first team consists of the top four all-around competitors, plus the top four competitors in each individual event, including ties, as determined by regional qualifying scores (RQS) after the Pac-12 Championships. The All-Conference second team consists of the fifth through eighth place all-around competitors, plus the fifth through eighth place competitors in each individual event, including ties.
