Galdiano, Tavatanakit Named to 2019 Arnold Palmer Cup Teams

ORLANDO, Fla. - Junior Mariel Galdiano will represent the United States in the 2019 Arnold Palmer Cup, while sophomore Patty Tavatanakit will play on the International squad, as the teams were announced on Wednesday.
The match-play competition featuring 12 members of both the U.S. and International teams will take place at The Alotian Club (June 7-9) in Roland, Arkansas.
Galdiano, as the top-ranked player among Team USA golfers, was an automatic qualifier for the Arnold Palmer Cup, as was Tavatanakit, who was the second-ranked member of Team International.
Galdiano helped Team USA to victory at last year's Arnold Palmer Cup in France, recording two points in mixed foursomes and singles.
Tavatanakit won two points for the International side, one in four-ball and half points in mixed foursomes and singles.
