Ross Selected UCLA/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of Week

Junior Kyla Ross from the UCLA gymnastics team has been named the UCLA/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week for Apr. 15-21.
Ross won a share of the NCAA vault and floor exercise titles at the NCAA Championships with scores of 9.9500, becoming the first UCLA gymnast ever to win NCAA titles on all four individual events in her career. She had previously won the uneven bars and balance beam crowns as a freshman in 2017. Ross also tied the UCLA record for most individual NCAA titles with four. In the all-around competition, she tied for second place with a score of 39.6625 and earned first-team All-America honors in the all-around and on vault, balance beam and floor exercise to bring her career All-America total to a school record-tying 19. In the NCAA team finals, Ross posted an all-around score of 39.7375 to lead the Bruins to a Top 3 finish.
This is Ross's third UCLA/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week award this season and eighth of her career.
