Men's Soccer Unveils 2019 Schedule

LOS ANGELES – The UCLA men's soccer team on Wednesday announced its schedule for the 2019 season, featuring 18 regular season games and 11 home contests at Wallis Annenberg Stadium.
The Bruins will have 14 of 18 games televised by the Pac-12 Networks this season, including all 10 regular season home matches.
UCLA's upcoming slate is one of the toughest in the country, as 11 of the team's 18 regular season home games are against programs that qualified for the 2018 NCAA Tournament. The Bruins' scheduled opponents for the 2019 season have combined for 15 National Championships, including the last four in a row.
The Bruins officially open the Ryan Jorden era on Friday, Aug. 30 with a neutral contest against Northwestern in Bloomington, Ind. as part of the Adidas/IU Credit Union Classic hosted by Indiana. UCLA then faces off against the eight-time national champion Hoosiers on Sunday, Sept. 1. After that tourney, the Bruins have just one non-conference road game remaining, at CSUN on Sept. 15.
UCLA starts its home schedule by hosting defending national champion Maryland at Wallis Annenberg Stadium on Friday, Sept. 6 at 7:00 p.m. in a Pac-12 Networks-televised showdown. The Bruins are also set to host non-conference opponents Georgetown (Sept. 9), UC Irvine (Sept. 26), UC Riverside (Oct. 1), and San Diego (Oct. 17).
Pac-12 action begins for UCLA with a trip to the Pacific Northwest featuring games at Oregon State on Sept. 19 and at Washington on Sept. 22. The Bruins host San Diego State in their league home opener on Sunday, Oct. 6 at 5:00 p.m.
UCLA plays its first interscholastic contest of the new season on 2019, welcoming in Westmont for an exhibition game at Wallis Annenberg Stadium on Tuesday, Aug. 20 at 7:00 p.m. The Bruins conclude their preseason schedule with an exhibition at Omaha on Aug. 24 before the season-opening tournament at Indiana.
