SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - Recent UCLA graduate Patrick Murphy picked up his first professional victory on Sunday, winning the Bakker Crossing Charity Pro-Am on The Dakotas Tour.
Murphy won by two strokes, posting a 54-hole total of 16-under 197. He opened with a 6-under 65 and took the lead for good after a second-round, 7-under 64. Murphy closed with a 3-under 68 to take home the $15,000 first-place prize. He is currently tied for second on the season-long money list.
