SNOQUALMIE, Wash. - Bruin alum Brandt Jobe opened the week by meeting Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson and ended his stay in the Pacific Northwest with his second PGA TOUR Champions victory, coming back from seven shots down to win the Boeing Classic.
Jobe shot a final-round, 9-under 63 on Sunday at The Club of Snoqualmie Ridge to finish at 18-under 198 to win by three shots over fellow Bruin alum Tom Pernice, Jr. It was Jobe's first victory since the 2017 Principal Charity Classic. His 63 was tied for his second-lowest round on the PGA TOUR Champions. Jobe made seven birdies, a par and a bogey on a front-nine 30, adding three birdies on the 14th, 17th and 18th.
Jobe's win moves him up to 14th in the season-long Charles Schwab Cup money list. He is the fourth different Bruin alum to win this season on the PGA TOUR Champions, joining Scott McCarron (Mitsubishi Electric Classic, Insperity Invitational, Mastercard Japan Championship), Pernice (Bass Pro Shops Legends of Golf at Big Cedar Lodge) and Ken Tanigawa (KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship).
