UCLA (0-3, 0-0) will travel to play at No. 19 Washington State (3-0, 0-0) on Saturday, September 21 in the Pac-12 opener for both teams at 7:30 p.m. PT. The game will be televised by ESPN. The Bruin IMG Radio Network will broadcast the contest, which will also be aired over 97.3 FM, Sirius/XM, uclabruins.com and tunein.com and the TuneIn App. UCLA Athletics is proud to join our institution in celebrating UCLA's Centennial all season long. The football team will mark the Centennial with a UCLA 100 helmet sticker for every game, and a UCLA 100 jersey patch for all home games.

The game at WSU will mark the sixth time in the last seven seasons in which UCLA has started conference action on the road (2018 L at Colorado, 2017 L at Stanford, 2015 W at Arizona, 2014 W at ASU, 2013 W at Utah).

The teams have not met up since the 2016 season, a 27-21 Cougar win in Pullman. UCLA owns a 40-20-1 overall lead in the series games, but the Cougars hold an 8-7 edge in the last 15 meetings. The Bruins had won the previous two meetings contested in Pullman (44-36 in 2012 and 43-7 in 2009) prior to the 2016 battle.

UCLA will be looking for its first win over a ranked conference opponent since 2015 (17-9 win at No. 18 Utah), which is also its last win over a ranked opponent. The Bruins registered an away Pac-12 win last season at Cal which snapped a streak of 11 straight setbacks on the road in conference play.
