Chan, Knapp Earn 2020 Korn Ferry Tour Cards

LONDON, Ontario - UCLA alums Jake Knapp and Lorens Chan earned their 2020 Korn Ferry Tour cards, while fellow alum Jonathan Garrick is exempt into the Korn Ferry Tour Qualifying Tournament.
Knapp placed third in the 2019 Mackenzie Tour - PGA TOUR Canada Order of Merit, while Chan finished fourth. By finishing in the Top 5, both players received their membership cards for the 2020 Korn Ferry Tour, which serves as the stepping stone to the PGA TOUR. Meanwhile, Garrick, along with four other players finishing between sixth and 10th in the Order of Merit, earned spots into the Korn Ferry Tour Qualifying Tournament, which will take place Dec. 12-15 in Winter Garden, Fla. The 2020 Korn Ferry Tour starts in mid-January.
Knapp earned his Mackenzie Tour card by winning the Qualifying Tournament in April in Phoenix. Five weeks later, he won the season-opening Canada Life Open in Vancouver thanks to a first-round 65 and a final-round 64. Knapp won again at the GolfBC Championship, while also recording runner-up and third-place finishes.
Chan opened the 2019 Mackenzie Tour season with four consecutive Top 10s. He would pick up his first victory at the HFX Pro-Am in Halifax. Chan did not miss a cut this season, adding second- and third-place finishes.
Garrick moved from 12th to 10th in the final season-long standings thanks to a fourth-place finish at the Canada Life Championship on Sunday. He had a pair of second-place finishes on the season.
