Waipahu, Hawaii - No. 5 UCLA completed its trip to the Aloha State with a 4-0 win over the Rainbow Wahine on Sunday. Freshman Mia Fishel scored two goals, defender Delanie Sheehan recorded two assists, and Sunny Dunphy and Marley Canales each scored one goal in the victory.

The Bruins (6-1-1) scored two goals in a six-minute span in the first half. Fishel drew first blood, scoring the game-winner at 29:47. Canales and Rachel Lowe were credited with the assists. Dunphy doubled the lead at 35:43, off assists from Ashley Sanchez and Sheehan.

Fishel kept her hot streak going in the second half, scoring her second goal of the game and fourth of the season, just four minutes in, assisted by Viviana Villacorta. In the final minute of the contest, Canales netted her second goal of the season off an assist by Sheehan.

UCLA dominated play, totaling 19 shots to Hawaii's five. Twelve of the Bruins' shots were on goal, while Hawaii (2-6-1) had just two shots on goal. UCLA also had a 9-1 advantage in corner kicks.

With control of the game firmly in hand, the Bruins were able to get some fresh legs onto the pitch, with a total of 22 players seeing action. Goalkeeper Lauren Brzykcy made her season debut, starting the second half and making two saves while sharing the shutout with Teagan Micah. Redshirt freshman Shana Flynn played in her second game, logging a season-high 29 minutes of play, and senior Maki Umehara made her season debut. Freshmen Kylie Kerr, Jackie Gilday, Brecken Mozingo and Janae DeFazio made their collegiate debuts in the second half and helped to preserve the shutout.

The Bruins return home for the start of Pac-12 Conference play. UCLA will host California on Friday, Sept. 27 at 7pm in its Centennial Game. Tickets are available now on uclabruins.com/tickets.
