MEN'S BASKETBALL
  • Jaylen Hands โ€“ Former UCLA guard Jaylen Hands was acquired by the Detroit Pistons in a three-team trade that also involved the Los Angeles Clippers and the Detroit Pistons last week. Hands played last season in the NBA's G-League for the Long Island Nets, the affiliate of the Brooklyn Nets. He was a second-round NBA Draft selection in June 2019 by Brooklyn, after his sophomore season in college.
  • Jrue Holiday โ€“ Former UCLA standout Jrue Holiday was acquired this week by the Milwaukee Bucks in a four-team trade this week. Milwaukee announced the transaction on Tuesday. Holiday, who is set to enter his 12th season in the NBA, was traded from the New Orleans Pelicans to Milwaukee. Selected by Philadelphia in the first round of the 2009 NBA Draft, Holiday starred for the Bruins as a freshman during the 2008-09 season. He has twice been honored as an All-NBA Defensive Team honoree (2017-18, 2018-19) and was an NBA All-Star in 2013. Holiday has appeared in more than 700 career games with Philadelphia and New Orleans.
WOMEN'S BASKETBALL
  • Japreece Dean,ย G, Dynamo Novosibirsk (Russia) -- Japreece Dean ('20) is playing in her first professional season overseas following her senior season with the Bruins.
  • Kennedy Burke, G, Dinamo Sassari (Italy) -- After a strong second-year campaign with the Indiana Fever in the "Wubble", Kennedy Burke ('19) has recently kicked off her second stint overseas. She currently plays for Dinamo Sassari in Italy.ย 
  • Monique Billings, F, Nadezhda Orenburg (Russia) -- Monique Billings ('18) had a breakout season in her third year with the Atlanta Dream this past season in the WNBA and now plays for Nadezhda Orenburg in Russia.ย 
  • Nirra Fields, G (Turkey) -- Nirra Fields ('16) continues her professional career playing overseas in Turkey.ย 
  • Atonya Nyingifa, F, Estudiantes (Madrid) -- Atonye Nyingifa ('14) continues her longstanding professional basketball career with Estudiantes in Spain. Nyingifa wrapped up her UCLA career in 2014 and scored 1,570 points as a Bruin.ย 
  • Rebekah Gardner, G, Sfantu Ghorghe (Romania) -- Rebekah Gardner ('12) continues her prolific professional career overseas with a stint with Sfantu Ghorghe in Romania. Gardner is a member of UCLA's 1,000-point club with 1,101-career points as a Bruin.
FOOTBALL
  • Jayon Brown, ILB, Tennessee Titans โ€“ Brown made three total tackles, including one of reigning MVP Lamar Jackson for a loss of three yards, as Tennessee edged Baltimore in overtime to improve to 7-3. Brown was injured on the penultimate play of the first half and did not return.
  • Kenny Clark, NT, Green Bay Packers โ€“ Clark posted his finest statistical performance of the season, racking up six total tackles. Among his stops was his first sack (for a loss of eight yards) of a campaign that has been shortened by injury. Clark added two QB hits.
  • Matt Dickerson, DE, Tennessee Titans โ€“ Dickerson, who was inactive for the previous five games, contributed two total tackles in his return to the lineup.
  • Ka'imi Fairbairn, K, Houston Texans โ€“ Fairbairn had a near-perfect day in Houston's win over New England, converting field-goal attempts from 36 and 46 yards without a miss, making each of his three extra-point tries and reaching the end zone on five of his six kickoffs.
  • Myles Jack, LB, Jacksonville Jaguars โ€“ Jack piled up five tackles, including one for a loss of two yards.
  • Joshua Kelley, RB, Los Angeles Chargers โ€“ The rookie posted four carries for -2 yards and reeled in two passes for four yards in the Chargers' win. One of his catches went for 10 yards.
  • Eric Kendricks, MLB, Minnesota Vikings โ€“ Kendricks totaled seven tackles to bring his season mark to 94. He also turned in his second interception of the season and added another pass defensed.
  • Marcedes Lewis, TE, Green Bay Packers โ€“ Lewis caught one ball for eight yards.
  • Cassius Marsh, LB, Indianapolis Colts โ€“ Promoted from the team's practice squad one day earlier, Marsh forced a fumble on a fourth-quarter kick return to set up a field goal. The Colts would go on to defeat Green Bay in overtime and improve to 7-3.
  • Fabian Moreau, CB, Washington Football Team โ€“ Moreau secured his second interception of the season, picking off Cincinnati quarterback Ryan Finley to seal Washington's 20-9 win. Moreau also posted two total tackles.
  • Matthew Slater, WR, New England Patriots โ€“ Slater registered one tackle on special teams.
  • Jacob Tuioti-Mariner, DT, Atlanta Falcons โ€“ Tuioti-Mariner tallied three total tackles, including one on special teams. He has now delivered four consecutive multi-tackle performances and six in eight games played this season.
  • Kenny Young, ILB, Los Angeles Rams โ€“ Young made four total tackles, including one on special teams, in the Rams' Monday night win at Tampa Bay.
  • DTย Eli Ankou (Dallas Cowboys), OT Andre James (Las Vegas Raiders), OT Conor McDermott (New York Jets), OT Kolton Miller (Las Vegas Raiders), C Scott Quessenberry (Los Angeles Chargers), OG Alex Redmond (Cincinnati Bengals) and TE Caleb Wilson (Philadelphia Eagles) also played, but did not record any statistics.
MEN'S GOLF
  • PGA TOURย โ€“ย Kevin Chappell made the cut at The RSM Classic last week in Sea Island, Ga. The TOUR is off for one week.
  • European Tour โ€“ Pedro Figueiredo made the cut at the Joburg Open last week in Johannesburg, South Africa. He is in the field at this week's Alfred Dunhill Championship (Thursday-Sunday) in Malelane, South Africa.
WOMEN'S GOLF
  • LPGA Tour โ€“ย Tiffany Joh (T-46) made the cut at Pelican Women's Championship last week in Belleair, Fla. The Tour is off for one week.

  • Reggie Cannon, D, Boavista FC (Portugal) โ€“ย Started at right back and played the entire game as Boavista recorded a 1-0 shutout of Vizela on Sunday in the Taca de Portugal, the country's domestic cup. Boavista didn't get their goal until the 104th minute, requiring a 120-minute clean sheet from its defense to move on. The club returns to league play on Sunday against Belenenses.
  • Abu Danladi, F, Nashville SC โ€“ Was on the injured list for Nashville's Eastern Conference play-in game against Inter Miami FC, a contest in which Nashville SC came away with a 3-0 win. The club next faces Toronto FC on Tuesday at 3:00 p.m. PT.
  • Jordan Harvey, D, LAFC โ€“ Harvey opens MLS Cup play against No. 2 Seattle on Tuesday night at 7:30 p.m. PT (TV: ESPN).
  • Ryan Hollingshead, D, FC Dallas โ€“ Hollingshead and (7) FC Dallas recorded a 1-1 (8-7) victory over (2) Portland on Sunday in the first round of the Western Conference Playoffs. FC Dallas made history in the game, with an MLS-record eight consecutive players โ€“ Hollingshead included โ€“ converting on penalty kicks to secure the upset.
  • Brian Rowe, GK, Orlando City SC โ€“ Was an unused sub as Orlando City SC advanced past NYCFC in an Eastern Conference Round One match.ย 
  • Kelyn Rowe, MF, New England Revolution โ€“ Was an unused sub as New England defeated Montreal in an Eastern Conference play-in game on Friday. The Revs face Philadelphia in Round One on Tuesday at 5:00 p.m.
  • Jackson Yueill, MF, San Jose Earthquakes โ€“ Started and played the entire game as No. 8-seeded San Jose suffered a heartbreak loss on Sunday, taking top-seeded Sporting KC to overtime before falling in penalty kicks, 3-3 (3-0). San Jose led 2-1 at halftime and got a last-minute goal in regulation to send the game into extra time.ย

  • Samย Mewis, MF, Manchester City (England) โ€“ Mewis came off the bench to play 22 minutes in a Nov. 19 Continental Cup group stage match against Manchester United. The two teams played to a 0-0 draw, and Manchester United took the win in penalties, 4-3. Despite the loss, ManCity advanced to the Continental Cup quarterfinals.
  • Siri Ervik, GK, Kolbotn (Norway) โ€“ Ervik earned the shutout in Kolbotn's 5-0 win over Medkila in the first leg of the Toppserien Relegation playoffs on Nov. 22.
  • Darianย Jenkins, F, Bordeaux (France) โ€“ Jenkins played 39 minutes in Bordeaux's 1-0 win over Paris FC on Nov. 22.
MEN'S TENNIS
  • Mackenzie McDonaldย โ€“ McDonald had a strong showing at the Orlando (Fla.) Open, reaching the singles semifinal round before falling to eventual champion Brandon Nakashima. Along the way, McDonald defeated Teymuraz Gabashvili of Russia, 6-2, 6-1, and Elias Ymer of Sweden, 6-3, 6-3.
