MEN'S BASKETBALL
  • The 2020-21 NBA season began last week, and multiple former UCLA players were in action across the country. Listed below are several of the top accomplishments from these Bruins in the NBA. The complete list of UCLA's former players on NBA rosters can be found here
  • Kyle Anderson, F, Memphis Grizzlies – Averaged 13.5 points and 12.0 rebounds in two games for Memphis. In the team's second game of the season, Anderson totaled 20 points, 14 rebounds and two blocks against Atlanta.
  • Lonzo Ball, G, New Orleans Pelicans – Scored in double figures in two of the Pelicans' first three games, helping lead New Orleans to an early 2-1 mark. In the Pelicans' most recent game (Sunday), Ball finished with 16 points, eight rebounds, five assists and five steals. He has averaged 12.7 points, 5.0 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 2.7 steals in three games.
  • Aaron Holiday, G, Indiana Pacers – Averaged 6.3 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1.7 assists in the Pacers' first three games. In his team's most recent contest (Sunday), Holiday scored six points and had three steals as the Pacers edged the Boston Celtics, 108-107.
  • Jrue Holiday, G, Milwaukee Bucks – Registered 15.0 points, 4.7 rebounds and 4.7 assists in Milwaukee's first three games. Opened the 2020-21 campaign with a 25-point, 6-rebound effort against the Boston Celtics on Wednesday, Dec. 23. Holiday has scored in double figures in two of the Bucks' first three games.
  • Zach LaVine, G, Chicago Bulls – Averaged a team-best 24.0 points per game in the Bulls' first three contests. LaVine has also averaged 3.3 rebounds and 2.0 assists in the season's first week. He had a 22-point performance in the Bulls' season opener against the Atlanta Hawks. Three days later, he scored 17 points against the Indiana Pacers. The next night (Sunday), LaVine scored 33 points, totaled seven rebounds and had three assists for Chicago.
  • Kevon Looney, F, Golden State Warriors – Averaged 4.7 points and 3.0 rebounds in the Warriors' first three games. Looney finished with a season-high eight points on Sunday evening's victory over the Chicago Bulls. He had four assists, including the game-winning assist to Damion Lee, in the one-point win over the Bulls.
  • Kevin Love, F, Cleveland Cavs – Registered 9.5 points and 6.0 rebounds per game in Cleveland's first two contests. Love scored 15 points and grabbed nine rebounds in a double-overtime victory over the Detroit Pistons in his first appearance of the season (Saturday, Dec. 26).
  • Norman Powell, G, Toronto Raptors – Averaged 6.0 points in the Raptors' first two games. Powell scored 12 points in Toronto's first game of the season, making 7 of 8 free throw attempts.
  • Russell Westbrook, G, Washington Wizards – Averaged 18.0 points, 13.0 rebounds and 13.5 assists in the Wizards' first two games. Westbrook had a 21-point triple-double (11 rebounds, 15 assists) in his first game with the Washington Wizards on Wednesday, Dec. 23. Three days later, he registered 15 points, 15 rebounds and 12 assists against the Orlando Magic.
FOOTBALL
  • Krys Barnes, ILB, Green Bay Packers – Barnes tallied seven total tackles to lead a Green Bay defense that held Tennessee to its season-low scoring output in a 40-14 rout under the snow at Lambeau Field.
  • Kenny Clark, NT, Green Bay Packers – Clark registered three total tackles, including one for a loss of three yards, and one QB hit as the Packers improved to 12-3 and moved closer to securing the NFC's No. 1 seed.
  • Matt Dickerson, DE, Tennessee Titans – Dickerson posted one tackle, increasing his season total to 10 in nine games – both career highs.
  • Ka'imi Fairbairn, K, Houston Texans – Fairbairn converted his lone field-goal attempt, from 21 yards, and made all four of his extra-point tries. He also sent all six of his kickoffs into the end zone, with five of them resulting in touchbacks.
  • Myles Jack, LB, Jacksonville Jaguars – Jack made eight tackles to run his season total to a career-high 113. He has posted eight or more tackles in 10 of 13 games played on the campaign.
  • Cassius Marsh, LB, Pittsburgh Steelers – Marsh continued carving out a spot on special teams for AFC East-leading Pittsburgh, recording a pair of tackles on kickoff returns.
  • Jacob Tuioti-Mariner, DT, Atlanta Falcons – Tuioti-Mariner issued a QB hit on Kansas City signal caller Patrick Mahomes.
  • Kenny Young, ILB, Los Angeles Rams – Young contributed three total tackles to match his career high for a season with 51. He has made three or more tackles in 10 games this season.
  • DT Eli Ankou (Dallas Cowboys), TE Devin Asiasi (New England Patriots), DE Matt Dickerson (Tennessee Titans), OT Andre James (Las Vegas Raiders), TE Marcedes Lewis (Green Bay Packers), OT Conor McDermott (New York Jets), OT Kolton Miller (Las Vegas Raiders), CB Fabian Moreau (Washington Football Team), C Scott Quessenberry (Los Angeles Chargers), WR Matthew Slater (New England Patriots), OG Xavier Su'a-Filo (Cincinnati Bengals) and TE Caleb Wilson (Philadelphia Eagles) also played, but did not record any stats.
MEN'S SOCCER                                                            
  • Reggie Cannon, D, Boavista FC (Portugal) – Started at right back and played 65 minutes in Boavista's 4-1 Primeira Liga loss to Braga on Monday. It was the first time that Cannon didn't play the full 90 for Boavista since transferring from FC Dallas in September, breaking a streak of 964 consecutive minutes played.
  • Jordan Harvey, D, LAFC – Was an unused substitute for LAFC in the Concacaf Champions League Final against Liga MX's Tigres. LAFC led 1-0 after a 61st minute goal from Diego Rossi, but conceded two goals over the remainder of the contest to drop a 2-1 decision.
WOMEN'S SOCCER                                                            
  • Teagan Micah, GK, Melbourne City FC (Australia) – Micah was spectacular in goal in her Melbourne City debut on Dec. 29, being named the Player of the Game after recording seven saves and seven clearances in a 0-0 W-League draw with Brisbane.
