Ross Wins Fifth Pac-12 Gymnast of Week Award

For the fifth time this season, UCLA senior Kyla Ross has been named the Pac-12 Gymnast of the Week.
Ross has won a Pac-12 weekly award in seven of the season's 10 weeks, including four weeks in a row of being either the Gymnast of Specialist of the Week. Her Gymnast of the Week award came after she won the all-around, vault and uneven bars against California on Mar. 8. Ross remained unbeaten in all-around competition this year, notching her eighth win with a score of 39.725. She scored her first perfect 10 of the year on vault to help the Bruins smash their season-high score with a 49.575 (the sixth-highest vault score in school history). The 10.0 was her 22nd of her career and her fifth on vault. She also received her 10th 9.975 score of the season, a first-place mark on the uneven bars. Ross ranks No. 1 in the nation on uneven bars, No. 2 on balance beam, No. 3 in the all-around, No. 4 on floor exercise and No. 11 on vault
Joining Ross as a Pac-12 weekly winner was Specialist of the Week Kim Tessen of Utah and Freshman of the Week Juliette Boyer of Arizona State.
