MEN'S BASKETBALL
  • Kyle Anderson, F, Memphis Grizzlies โ€“ Scored 10 points and had eight rebounds and two steals in one game last week with Memphis. He has averaged 12.5 points and 7.2 rebounds this season, through 13 contests.
  • Lonzo Ball, G, New Orleans Pelicans โ€“ Averaged 10.7 points and 5.3 assists in three games with New Orleans last week. He finished with 11 points, seven assists and four rebounds in New Orleans' game against Minnesota on Saturday. Ball has averaged 12.0 points and 4.7 assists in 12 games this season.
  • Moses Brown, C, Oklahoma City Thunder โ€“ Averaged 6.0 points and 2.5 rebounds in limited action with Oklahoma City last week. Brown has played in nine games this season (1.2 ppg and 1.6 rpg).
  • Aaron Holiday, G, Indiana Pacers โ€“ Scored in double figures in two games with Indiana last week, including a 13-point effort against Dallas last Wednesday (Jan. 20). Holiday has averaged 6.3 points and 2.2 assists in 16 contests with Indiana.
  • Jrue Holiday, G, Milwaukee Bucks โ€“ Scored at least 15 points in three games for Milwaukee last week, including 22 points in games against Brooklyn (Jan. 18) and the Los Angeles Lakers (Jan. 21). He made 10 of 18 shots in the game against the Lakers (55.6%) and added seven assists. Holiday has registered 16.1 points and 5.2 assists per game with Milwaukee this season (16 games).
  • Zach LaVine, G, Chicago Bulls โ€“ Finished with at least 20 points in three games with Chicago last week. LaVine scored 25 points last Friday against Charlotte, had 21 points on Saturday against the Los Angeles Lakers and registered 30 points on Monday versus Boston. Through 16 games with Chicago this season, he has averaged 26.8 points, 5.2 rebounds and 5.4 assists.
  • Kevon Looney, F, Golden State Warriors โ€“ Averaged 3.3 points and 3.3 rebounds in three contests last week with Golden State. Looney has averaged 3.8 points and 3.7 rebounds through 16 games this season with the Warriors.
  • Norman Powell, G, Toronto Raptors โ€“ Scored at least 20 points in each of Toronto's last three games, including a 24-point effort against Indiana on Monday evening. He totaled 23 points against Miami last Friday and tallied 20 points and six assists on Sunday against Indiana. Powell has averaged 12.9 points and 2.1 rebounds per game for the Raptors, through 16 games this season.
  • Russell Westbrook, G, Washington Wizards โ€“ Finished with nine points, eight rebounds and six assists in his only game of the week last Sunday against San Antonio. Through eight contests this season, Westbrook has averaged 18.0 points, 10.6 assists and 9.5 rebounds per game.
FOOTBALL
  • Krys Barnes, ILB, Green Bay Packers โ€“ Barnes registered three total tackles as Green Bay suffered a 31-26 loss to Tampa Bay in the NFC Championship Game. It was a season to remember for the undrafted rookie, who piled up 79 total stops in 13 regular-season games (10 starts).
  • Kenny Clark, NT, Green Bay Packers โ€“ Clark made a team-high eight tackles, including a sack of quarterback Tom Brady for a loss of five yards, in Green Bay's NFC Championship Game loss. After missing three games early due to injury, Clark bounced back to make 38 total tackles, including two sacks, over 13 regular-season games.
  • Marcedes Lewis, TE, Green Back Packers โ€“ Lewis made three catches for 28 yards in the final game of his 15th season. The three grabs surpassed his 2020 regular-season high. Lewis made 10 catches for 107 yards and three touchdowns over the course of 15 regular-season games, all of which he started.
MEN'S GOLF
  • PGA TOUR โ€“ Patrick Cantlay, who made the cut on the number, shot an 11-under 61 in the final round of The American Express to finish second by one shot. Cantlay made 11 birdies and no bogeys in Sunday's final round and moved up to second in the season-long FedEx Cup standings.
  • PGA TOUR Champions โ€“ Scott McCarron was the top finisher for the Bruins at the season-opening Mitsubishi Electric Championship at Hualalai, tying for ninth (-11, 205). The Tour is off until Feb. 26.
WOMEN'S GOLF
  • LPGA TOUR โ€“ Bronte Law finished 14th (-8, 276) at the Diamond Resorts Tournament of Champions. The Tour is off until Feb. 25.

  • Jackson Yueill was selected to the 25-player roster for the U.S. Men's National Team's game against Trinidad & Tobago on Jan. 31 in Orlando, Fla. Yueill started as a midfielder in the USNMNT's 6-0 victory over El Salvador last month, his eighth cap with the senior national team.

  • Sam Mewis started on the left side of the midfield and played 68 minutes in the U.S. Women's National Team's 6-0 victory over Colombia on Friday, Jan. 22. Mewis was instrumental in two of the USWNT's goals. She earned a penalty in the 43rd minute to set up the US's third goal, and then earned an assist after Lynn Williams finished off her cross for the team's fourth score. Fellow UCLA alums Abby Dahlkemper and Mal Pugh (injured) did not dress for the contest.
  • Teagan Micah, GK, Melbourne City FC (Australia) โ€“ Micah started in goal as Melbourne City suffered a 2-1 W-League loss to Adelaide United on Thursday. Micah has made the W-League Team of the Week on two occasions so far in the young season.ย 
  • Jessie Fleming, MF, Chelsea FC (England) โ€“ Fleming entered as a substitute in extra time as Chelsea defeated Manchester City FC, 4-2, in the FA WSL Cup Quarterfinal. The London-based club is set to face West Ham in the FA WSL Cup Semifinal on Feb. 3.
WOMEN'S TENNIS
  • Robin Anderson and Catherine Harrison start play at Georgia's Rome Tennis Open Tuesday. Anderson and Erin Routliffe, the tournament's No. 2 seed, will square off against Emina Bektas and Tara Moore in the first round of doubles action. Harrison and Sophia Whittle, meanwhile, are set to meet Allura Zamarripa and Maribella Zamarripa. Anderson also has a first-round singles date with Grace Min scheduled for Wednesday.
