Freshman Aaron Edwards of the UCLA men's soccer team has been selected the UCLA Student-Athlete of the Week, presented by Ready, for Oct. 11-17.
Edwards scored two goals in the second half to lead UCLA to a 2-1 comeback win over No. 14 Loyola Marymount on Thursday, the first two goals of his collegiate career. He scored the game-winner in the 83rd on a header off a corner kick.
This is Edwards' first UCLA student-athlete of the week award of the season and of his career.
