Osborne Named to Preseason All-Conference Team, Bruins Picked Third in Poll

San Francisco, Calif. โ Charisma Osborne has been named to the Pac-12 Preseason All-Conference Team, the league office announced Wednesday. Gina Conti and Natalie Chou earned preseason All-Pac-12 acclaim.

Osborne earned All-Pac-12 honors in 2021 after putting up career-highs in points per game (17.0) and assists per game (3.8). She's already ninth on UCLA's all-time three-point field goal list with 112 made triples and put up a stretch of seven-straight games with at least 20 points last season.

Conti earned Second Team All-ACC honors last season and ranks third in Wake Forest program history in assists with 485. She played four seasons with the Deamon Deacons before transferring to UCLA as a graduate student. Chou picked up All-Pac-12 Honorable Mention acclaim after starting 21 games last season and putting up a career-high 9.9 points per game. She shot 38.6 percent from long range and knocked down 32 triples in 2020-21, her second-straight season with at least 30 three-pointers made.

The preseason All-Pac-12 team was selected by a panel of media members who cover the league.

Media members also selected the Bruins to finish third in the Pac-12, the same placement the team received on the poll of the league's head coaches.
