Men's Soccer Unveils 2021 Schedule
June 29, 2021 | Men's Soccer
LOS ANGELES – The UCLA men's soccer program on Tuesday officially announced its schedule for the upcoming 2021 season. The Bruins will open the season with home exhibitions against Westmont (Aug. 16) and Cal Poly (Aug. 21) before starting the regular season at home against Lipscomb on Aug. 26.
UCLA will play 11 regular season home games at Wallis Annenberg Stadium this season in addition to the two preseason exhibitions. The Bruins are scheduled to play 19 games overall this year.
Scheduled non-conference opponents this season include Lipscomb, San Francisco, UC Irvine, CSUN, Portland, UC Riverside, and Loyola Marymount. All non-conference contests, with the exception of a Sept. 3 tilt at UC Irvine, will be played at home.
As in years past, the Bruins will play a balanced Pac-12 Conference schedule, playing home-and-away against all five conference rivals. UCLA opens up league competition at home against Stanford on Sept. 16.
Eight of the Bruins' league games are currently slated to appear on the Pac-12 Networks, both the home and away contests in the series against Stanford, California, Oregon State, and Washington.
UCLA athletic events taking place outdoors will allow for full seating capacity for the 2021-22 season, including men's soccer games at Wallis Annenberg Stadium. Specific details regarding health safety protocols at outdoor games will be announced at a later date. Tickets for the 2021 season will go on sale in August.
