OKLAHOMA CITY - The Bruins dropped a 6-0 decision to Alabama on Friday night at USA Softball Hall of Fame Stadium, and will face an elimination game on Saturday night at 4 p.m. PT/6 p.m. CT on ESPN.
UCLA will take on the winner of the Georgia-Oklahoma game, which will be played Saturday morning at 9 a.m. PT/11 a.m. CT.
The Bruins (47-6) did not have a base runner in the game. Senior Rachel Garcia struck out three in 5 2/3 innings, while junior Holly Azevedo retired all four batters she faced in relief.
