Reilyn Turner totaled two goals and an assist, MacKenzee Vance recorded a goal and an assist, and Sunshine Fontes had two assists. Bridgette Marin-Valencia, Sofia Cook and Lexi Wright provided the other three goals for the Bruins. Goalkeepers Lauren Brzykcy and Neeku Purcell combined for the shutout, UCLA's ninth of the season.
For the third time this season, Turner put the Bruins ahead with a goal in the first two minutes of play. At 1:22, she received a pass from Maricarmen Reyes and fired a shot from outside the box that got past Colorado goalkeeper Dani Hansen at the right post.
Vance made the score 2-0 at 15:48, dribbling down the field and firing top shelf from about 25 yards out for her second goal of the year.

Turner kept it going at 27:22, thanks to Fontes, who drew the Buffs defensive focus to her and then found an open Turner in front of goal. With her back to goal, Turner flicked Fontes' pass up and then half-volleyed it to the left corner for her ninth goal of the season. UCLA was not done, though, in the half, as freshman Bridgette Marin-Valencia used fancy footwork to evade three different defenders and punch a goal past Hansen at 32:28.

Armed with a 4-0 halftime lead, the Bruins added two more in the second half. Turner set up Cook in the 63rd minute with an impressive backheel pass, and Cook bent a shot to the right post past reserve goalkeeper Bella Grust. The goal was Cook's fifth of the season. Wright finished up the scoring in the 70th minute with her fourth goal of the year, a volley following a perfect cross from Madelyn Desiano. Vance was also credited with an assist.

UCLA outshot Colorado, 20-6, and had 11 shots on goal to the Buffs' two. The Bruins improved their record to 14-1, 6-1 in the Pac-12, while Colorado dropped to 8-5-3, 2-4-1. UCLA will next play at Utah on Sunday, Oct. 23 at 12pm MT/11am PT.
