The Bruins honorees are Mia Erdoes, Emily Lee, Emma Malabuyo, Katie McNamara, Brooklyn Moors, Ana Padurariu, Kendal Poston, Samantha Sakti, Sara Taubman and Pauline Tratz.
Fifth-year senior Tratz received Scholastic All-America honors for the fifth consecutive year. The 2022 graduate in Communication was the 2021 Pac-12 Gymnastics Scholar-Athlete of the Year, a four-time Pac-12 academic honoree and a 2021 CoSIDA Academic All-District selection.
Poston, another fifth-year senior, earned her fourth Scholastic All-America award of her career after being previously honored in 2018, 2020 and 2021. Poston, who graduated with a degree in Political Science, was twice named to the Pac-12 Academic Honor Roll.
Seniors Sakti and Taubman received their fourth Scholastic All-America nods. Sakti earned her degree in Psychology and was a two-time Pac-12 Academic Honor Roll selection and a two-time UCLA All-Academic team member. She was also a two-time Arthur Ashe Jr. Sports Scholar and the 2022 sport winner for gymnastics. Taubman received her degree in Human Biology & Society and finished her UCLA career as a three-time Pac-12 Academic Honor Roll selection.
McNamara received her second consecutive Scholastic All-America honor and first as a Bruin. She previously earned honors as a freshman at the University of Washington. McNamara is a Labor Studies major.
Five members of the freshman class earned their first honors โ Erdoes, Lee, Malabuyo, Moors and Padurariu.
The 10 honorees are the second-largest by a UCLA team in a single season, second only to the 2003 squad that had 11 Scholastic All-Americans.
