LOS ANGELES – Graduate forward Ally Cook of UCLA women's soccer has been selected the UCLA Student-Athlete of the Week, presented by Ready, for the week of Sept. 25-Oct. 1.
Cook scored a goal in each game as No. 5 UCLA won two on the road at Washington and at No. 23 Washington State over the past week. Cook recorded a first-half goal to give UCLA an early 2-0 lead over the Huskies in a 3-2 Bruin victory and then scored in the second half at Washington State to double up UCLA's advantage in a 2-0 win. Cook has scored a goal in all three Pac-12 Conference games this year and has four goals in that three-game span. She leads UCLA in scoring with seven goals and 15 points and is tied for second in the Pac-12 in goals scored and ranks third in points. In conference games only, she leads the all players in the Pac-12 with four goals and eight points.
This is Cook's second UCLA Student-Athlete of the Week award of the season and of her Bruin career.
