Latu Selected Student-Athlete of the Week, Presented by Ready

LOS ANGELES – Senior Laiatu Latu of UCLA Football has been selected the UCLA Student-Athlete of the Week, presented by Ready, for the week of Oct. 23-29.
The lineman led UCLA's defense in a 28-16 win over Colorado on Saturday at the Rose Bowl. Latu had a team-high three sacks, causing the Buffaloes to lose 19 yards, and four total tackles during the conference matchup. The senior now has 9.5 sacks on the year, ranking fourth among all FBS players. As a team, UCLA sacked Colorado seven times and limited the visitors to 25 rushing yards, 242 yards of total offense, and one touchdown.
This is Latu's first-career UCLA student-athlete of the week award.
