Women’s Basketball to Play Bellarmine Sunday

LOS ANGELES – No. 4 UCLA Women's Basketball (2-0, 0-0) is set to host Bellarmine University (0-1, 0-0) Sunday inside Pauley Pavilion presented by Wescom.
Tip is scheduled for 2 p.m. PT; the game will be streamed live to the Pac-12 Live landing page for UCLA Athletics. Sunday's matchup between the Bruins and the Knights will be the first meeting between the teams in the respective program histories.

LAST TIME OUT: W, 90-52 vs. UC RIVERSIDE
• No. 4 UCLA started things off hot in the first, outscoring UC Riverside 25-2 in the opening 10 minutes of play. The Bruins scored 20-consecutive point before allowing a Highlander basket.
• All five starters for the Bruins were in double figures for the second-consecutive game to begin the season. Sophomore Gabriela Jaquez set a new career-high, scoring 18 points on Thursday. Kiki Rice added 18 points, too.
• Sophomore Lauren Betts recorded her first double-double of the season, racking up 14 points and a career-high 15 rebounds in the win. Charisma Osborne claimed the 17th double-double of her career (13 PTS, 11 REB) in the effort Thursday.
THE ROAD TO EUROBASKET 2025
• Bruin seniors Emily Bessoir (Germany) and Angela Dugalić (Serbia) miss both the Nov. 9 contest against UC Riverside and Sunday's matchup against Bellarmine (Nov. 12, 2 p.m.) due to participation with their respective senior national teams in the FIBA Women's Eurobasket 2025 Qualifiers. Both Bruins play two games each, broadcast live to FIBA's YouTube channel.
• Incoming freshman Elina Aarnisalo will also compete for Finland – the point guard will play games Thursday and Friday with the Finnish national team. Bruin alum Gina Conti has also joined Italy, which competes in the qualifying tournament this weekend.
