UCLA Earns No. 13 Overall Seed in NCAA Tournament

LOS ANGELES – The UCLA men's soccer team earned the 13 overall seed and a first round bye in the NCAA Division I Men's Soccer Tournament on Monday morning. The Bruins will play Sunday at Wallis Annenberg Stadium at 5:00 p.m.
UCLA will face the winner of LMU and UC Irvine the second round of the tournament. The Bruins have already faced both the Lions and Anteatrs this season, falling 1-0 to LMU and beating UC Irvine 4-0 on the road.
UCLA is one of three Pac-12 teams to earn bids into the tourney, joining No. 16 seed Stanford, and Oregon State.
This is UCLA's 48th overall appearance in the NCAA Tournament, and third in a row under fifth-year head coach Ryan Jorden. The Bruins are making their third consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance.
UCLA is 76-43 all-time in the NCA Tournament, and have won four College Cups.
This year's College Cup will be held in Louisville, Kentucky on Dec. 8 and 11.
