Betts Selected Student-Athlete of the Week, Presented by Ready

LOS ANGELES – Sophomore Lauren Betts of UCLA Women's Basketball has been selected the UCLA Student-Athlete of the Week, presented by Ready, for the week of Nov. 27-Dec. 3.
Sophomore Lauren Betts recorded her second 20-point, 10-rebound double-double with perfect shooting from the floor (9-for-9 FG) as the Bruins defeated Arkansas 81-66 in Fayetteville on Sunday. The center swatted away two blocks and grabbed four offensive rebounds in the win; Betts was a team-best +24 Sunday. The sophomore has four double-doubles on the year, helping the Bruins cruise to a 7-0 start and a No. 2 ranking in the Associated Press's Top 25 Women's College Basketball Poll for the third-consecutive week.
This is Betts' third-career UCLA student-athlete of the week award.
