Men's Soccer Reveals 2023 Schedule

LOS ANGELES – The UCLA men's soccer program on Thursday officially announced its schedule for the upcoming 2023 season. The Bruins will open the season with home exhibitions against UC Riverside (Aug. 12), Cal Poly (Aug. 15), and CSU Bakersfield (Aug.19) before starting the regular season with a neutral-site contest against Virginia Tech on Aug. 24.
UCLA will play eight regular season home games at Wallis Annenberg Stadium this season in addition to the two preseason exhibitions. The Bruins are scheduled to play 17 regular season games overall this year.
In non-conference competition, the Bruins are slated to host CSUN (Sept. 4), Rutgers (Sept. 9), and LMU (Oct. 14).
The Bruins open the regular season by traveling to Harrisonburg, Va. for the Fairfield by Marriott Invitational, taking on Virginia Tech on Aug. 24 before facing host James Madison on Aug. 27. The Bruins will also travel for non-league games at Cal State Fullerton (Sept. 17) and UC Irvine (Sept. 23).
As in years past, the Bruins will play a balanced Pac-12 Conference schedule, playing home-and-away against all five conference rivals. UCLA opens up league competition by hosting Stanford (Sept. 28) and Cal (Oct. 1).
The Pac-12 Networks is scheduled to broadcast nine of UCLA's games this year, including five home tilts at Wallis Annenberg Stadium.
UCLA is coming off a strong 2022 season, as the Bruins went 12-7-1 and reached the Sweet 16 round of the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2014. UCLA is coming off back-to-back seasons with double-digit wins, a first for the program since 2014-15.
