Andrews Named Student-Athlete of the Week, Presented by Ready

LOS ANGELES โ Sophomore Dylan Andrews of UCLA Men's Basketball has been selected the UCLA Student-Athlete of the Week, presented by Ready, for the week of Jan. 29-Feb. 4.

Andrews averaged 19.5 points, 4.0 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 1.5 steals in the Bruins' two home wins last week. Andrews shot 53.6 percent from the field (15-for-28) and was 5-for-6 from 3-point distance (83.3 percent). In addition, he was a perfect 4-for-4 at the free throw line. Through both games, Andrews totaled 10 assists and just three turnovers and tallied three steals. He scored 18 points and had three assists in the Bruins' 71-63 win against Oregon State on Thursday. Two nights later, Andrews scored a team-leading 21 points, connecting of 9-of-16 shots, as the Bruins defeated Oregon, 71-63. Andrews was 3-for-3 from 3-point distance against the Ducks on Saturday. He totaled seven assists and just two turnovers.
