No. 3 UCLA Leads with 18 to Play at The Show

LAS VEGAS – The No. 3 UCLA women's golf team owns a one-shot lead at 2-under after two rounds at The Show at Spanish Trail Country Club on Monday. The Bruins shot 3-under 285 in round one and 1-over 289 in round two.
SMU is the only other team shooting under par at 1-under (285-290). Junior Zoe Antoinette Campos is tied with Pepperdine's Jeneath Wong in first place at 6-under. Campos, who is coming off her first win of the season at the Nanea Pac-12 Preview, shot a bogey-free 4-under 68 with two birdies and an eagle in round one and 2-under 70 in round two today.
Campos has now shot under par in each of her six stroke play rounds this spring season.
The rest of the Bruins' lineup are situated in the top 30 in the field of 77 golfers. Joining Campos in the top 10 is Italian Alessia Nobilio who is tied for 10th at even par (71-73). Nobilio is looking for back-to-back top-10 finishes after placing runner-up behind Campos at the Nanea Pac-12 Preview.
Senior Kate Villegas is tied for 16th at 2-over with back-to-back rounds of 73. Tiffany Le is tied for 23rd at 4-over (73-75) and Caroline Canales is tied for 30th at 5-over (76-73).
UCLA tees off for the final round tomorrow morning in a shotgun start at 8 a.m. (PT), looking for its fifth win of the season.
