Four Bruins Earn Postseason Honors from the Pac-12 One Final Time

SAN FRANCISCOย --ย The Pac-12 Conference announced today the Pac-12 Beach Volleyballย postseason honors and All-Conference teams for the 2024 season, as determined by a polling of the Conference coaches.
Sophomore Maggie Boyd and graduate student Lexy Denaburgย were both named First Team All-Pac-12. The duo played exclusively on court one together and have a 30-7 record entering the 2024 NCAA Beach Volleyball Championship this weekend. For Denaburg, it was her fourth consecutive year to land on the First Team, joining Megan McNamara and Nicole McNamara (2016-19) as the only four-time First Team All-Pac-12 selection in program history. For Boyd, she is on her way to join that exclusive club with her second-straight First-Team honor.
Graduate student Devon Newberry also joined Denaburg and Boyd on the First Team. Her partner, Peri Brennan, made Second Team All-Pac-12 for the second straight year. It marked Newberry's third time to earn First Team plaudits (2021-22, 24) after failing to make a team last year due to injury. Newberry and Brennan have played exclusively on court two together, sporting a 31-5 overall record.
The coaches also voted on the All-Pac-12 and All-Freshman Teams, which are listed below. The All-Pac-12 Team is comprised of 10 student-athletes on the First Team and 10 on the Second Team. Five student-athletes are also named to the All-Freshman Team.
