Ndiaye Selected to French Olympic Volleyball Team

Attacker Iman Ndiaye was selected to the France Olympic Women's Volleyball Team, it was announced by head coach Emile Rosseaux Monday morning. Ndiaye, who competed at UCLA from 2021-23, was born in Paris and moved to the United States at four years old. This marks her first Olympic appearance.

The Olympic volleyball tournament at Paris 2024 will take place from July 27-Aug. 11 at the South Paris Arena in the French capital.
Since graduating from UCLA with a degree in communications, Ndiaye has competed professionally overseas in Germany, France and Turkey. Ndiaye most recently represented France in the Volleyball Nations League in May and June. Ndiaye is the only Bruin to be listed to an Olympic women's volleyball roster.
France, the host of the 2024 Paris Summer Games, is one of 12 teams competing in the women's volleyball discipline. Other countries include Brazil, China, Dominican Republic, Italy, Japan, Kenya, Netherlands, Poland, Serbia, Turkey and the United States.
Ndiaye was a three-time All-Pac-12 honoree in her UCLA playing career, being named to the First Team in Spring 2021 and Honorable Mention twice in 2023 and 2022. She was recognized as AVCA Pacific South All-Region in her final campaign in Westwood. Last season, Ndiaye led UCLA with 441.0 points (3.74 PPS) and 375 kills (3.18 KPS) at a .265 hitting percentage. She was the only Bruin to start all 30 matches, playing in all 118 sets. Ndiaye recorded the first five double-doubles of her career in her senior season, which also led the team.
