Wright Invited to 2025 MLS College Showcase

NEW YORK – UCLA men's soccer junior Tre Wright has been invited to attend the 2025 MLS College Showcase, held December 10-13 in Mesa, Arizona. Wright is the first Bruin to earn an invitation since Tucker Lepley in 2023.
Wright has appeared in 36 games across three seasons for the Bruins, making 19 starts. A centerback from Austin, Texas, Wright helped lead the Bruins to a first-ever Big Ten Tournament crown in 2025.
After locking down a spot in the UCLA starting lineup in 2025, Wright made 19 appearances and 18 starts. Wright tallied three assists and played a total of 1,548 minutes of action in 2025, the fourth-most of any Bruin.
A junior, Wright recorded assists in UCLA's games at LMU, and a career-high two assists in the Bruins' 5-2 win at Omaha. Wright also helped the backline keep eight clean sheets on the season, including two shutouts over No. 1 Maryland, and a 5-0 shutout of Michigan in the Big Ten Tournament final.
In addition to lifting the Big Ten Tournament trophy in 2025, Wright also helped the Bruins earn the final Pac-12 regular season title in 2023, where he made 13 appearances off the bench.
The four-day event will give technical staffs from every MLS club an opportunity to scout 44 of the top collegiate prospects in the nation ahead of MLS SuperDraft 2025 presented by adidas, which will take place on Tuesday, December 18 and feature an expanded eligible player pool. Please note that the list of attendees is subject to change prior to the event.
The 2025 MLS College Showcase is a closed-door scouting event officially sanctioned by the NCAA. The eligible player list for MLS SuperDraft 2025 presented by adidas will be announced at a later date following the 2025 MLS College Showcase.
