Record 11 UCLA Gymnasts Selected to Academic All-Big Ten Team

UCLA Gymnastics set a new program record with 11 team members selected to the academic all-conference team in 2025.ย
Named to the Winter Academic All-Big Ten team were graduates Chae Campbell, Frida Esparza and Brooklyn Moors; seniors Mia Erdoes, Emily Lee and Emma Malabuyo; juniors Ciena Alipio, Madisyn Anyimi and Clara Wren; and sophomores Paige Anastasi and Katelyn Rosen.ย The previous record for UCLA was 10 honorees, set in each of the last two seasons.

Campbell, Esparza and Moors each received their fourth career honors. Erdoes, Lee and Malabuyo also earned academic all-conference honors each year of their careers, receiving their third. Anyimi is now a two-time honoree, and Alipio, Wren, Anastasi and Rosen received first-time honors.ย
To be eligible for Academic All-Big Ten selection, students must be on a varsity team (as verified by being on the official squad list as of March 1 for fall sports), have been enrolled full-time at the institution for a minimum of 12 months and carry a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or higher. ย
