LOS ANGELES – Senior Jordan Chiles of UCLA Gymnastics has been selected the Student-Athlete of the Week presented by La Victoria for athletic competitions held between March 17-23.
Chiles won the all-around and three events at the Big Ten Championships, leading the Bruins to their second consecutive Big Ten Conference Championship with a season-high road score of 198.100. Chiles' 39.825 all-around total set a new Championships record, and her four titles tied the single-season Big Ten and UCLA records for most individual conference titles in a year. The last Bruin to win four conference titles in a year was Tasha Schwikert in 2007. The last gymnast to win four Big titles in a year was Nebraska's Emily Wong in 2013. Chiles won her second consecutive conference floor title with a perfect 10, her seventh 10 of the season and 18th overall in her career. She also captured the balance beam title with a 9.950 and tied for first on uneven bars with a 9.950. The 2026 Big Ten Gymnast of the Year has a total of 43 event victories this season and 125 in her career. She has hit 86 routines in a row without a fall, with 63 in a row scoring 9.800 or higher.
Chiles secures her 12th-career UCLA student-athlete of the week award.
