LOS ANGELES – The UCLA women’s golf team announced its 2026-27 schedule on Thursday. The Bruins will play 11 tournaments, opening the fall season at ANNIKA Intercollegiate in Lake Elmo, Minn. Sept. 7-9, 2026.
The Bruins’ upcoming 2026-27 campaign will mark head coach Alicia Um Holmes’ fourth year leading the program. Last season, Um Holmes’ squad recorded six top-five finishes and made the program’s 36th NCAA Tournament appearance. UCLA returns six players from last year’s roster, including the 2026 Big Ten Freshman of the Year Kacey Ly and All-Big Ten First Team performer Jen Lee.
Ly earned a league-high-tying three Big Ten Freshman of the Week honors and led the Bruins with a 72.54 scoring average, four top-5 finishes, 90.6% counting-round percentage (31/35) and four eagles in her debut season.
Lee enjoyed a breakout sophomore campaign in her first year in Westwood in 2025-26. The Osan, South Korea, native ranked second on the team with a 72.6 scoring average and claimed the first win of her collegiate career at the Windy City Collegiate Classic. She competed in all 12 events, posting three top-10 finishes and a team-high six top-20s.
Fall 2026 Schedule
UCLA will compete in four tournaments during the fall portion of its schedule. The Bruins will travel north of the border for their second tournament, competing at the Canadian Collegiate Invitational in Aurora, Ontario, the home province of incoming freshman Michelle Xing. UCLA closes the fall with two highly competitive tournament staples: the Stanford Intercollegiate in Palo Alto, Calif., and the Nanea Invitational in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii.
Spring 2027 Schedule
UCLA’s spring schedule consists of six regular-season tournaments before the 2027 Big Ten Championships, which will be held at Nemacolin Resort in Farmington, Pa.
The Bruins open the spring with the fifth annual Battle of LA, a friendly match-play competition against crosstown rival USC. UCLA then looks to defend its title at the Therese Hession Regional Challenge at Palos Verdes Golf Club after finishing at least 10 strokes ahead of each of the six top-25 programs in last year’s field.
UCLA will host the Bruin Wave Invitational for the third consecutive year at Valencia Country Club in Santa Clarita. Angela Liu and Jennifer Seo, both members of the Bruins’ lineup that won the 2025 edition of the tournament, return this season.
The Bruins return to the Aloha State for the Nanea Cup, a first-of-its-kind event that will pair some of the world’s top LPGA Tour players with elite collegiate golfers in a unique competitive format. The four-round tournament at Nanea Golf Club will be televised by Golf Channel. Fans can read more HERE.
UCLA will gear up for the postseason with two final regular-season tournaments, competing at the PING/ASU Invitational in Phoenix and the Silverado Showdown in Napa, Calif., before heading to the Big Ten Championships.
