Track & Field Lincoln-Bound for 2026 Big Ten Outdoor Championships

The UCLA track & field team opens championship season this weekend, making the trip east to Lincoln, Neb. for the three-day Big Ten Outdoor Championships from May 15-17.
The entirety of the meet will be held at Nebraska Outdoor Track on the campus of Nebraska.

UCLA's first entries of the day are currently scheduled for 10:30 a.m. PT on Friday, 8 a.m. PT on Saturday, and 8:10 a.m. on Sunday.ย
All three days at Big Tens will be streamed live on B1G+ and RunnerSpace. The third and final day of the league meet will also appear on Big Ten Network starting at 10:30 a.m. PT. Chris Vosters (pbp), Declan Murray (analyst), and Larry Punteney (sideline) will be on the call.
The Bruins are coming off a third-place finish on the women's side and an 11th-place result on the men's side at last year's Big Ten Outdoors.
UCLA has a number of top-10 seeds lined up for this weekend.
Top-10 seeds from the women's side include Valentina Fakrogha (No. 1 - HJ), Celeste Polzonetti (No. 3 - 100mH), Sydney Johnson (No. 3 - long jump; No. 4 - heptathlon), Kapiolani Coleman (No. 3 - 400mH), Taylor Snaer (No. 4 - 200m; No. 6 - 100m), Paige Sommers (No. 4 - PV), Naomi Johnson (No. 5 - 400m), Olivia Griffin (No. 8 - 400mH), and Olivia Foody (No. 9 - 10k).
The men's top-10 seeds include Tamaal Myers II (No. 3 - 400mH), Hamdi Ali (No. 4 - HJ), Gabriel Clement II (No. 5 - 200m; No. 6 - 400m), Davis Davis-Lyric (No. 7 - 110mH), Henry Coughlan (No. 7 - 10k), Xaver Hastenrath (No. 8 - SP), Terrence Sweetman (No. 10 - TJ), and Chris Paige (No. 10 - 400mH).
The Bruins are also ranked inside the top-10 in all four relay races, including a No. 2 seed in the women's 4x100.
