Split time rowing in the 2V8+ and V4+ crews...helped lead UCLA to its first-ever berth in the NCAA Tournament as a team, as the Bruins finished 12th overall at the NCAA Championships in Sacramento, Calif...rowed bow seat in the 2V8+ in a dual-meet win over Loyola Marymount (March 6)...rowed bow seat in the 2V8+ at the San Diego Crew Classic (March 27-28), leading the Bruins to a second-place finish on day one and a fifth-place finish on day two...rowed bow seat in the 2V8+ at the SoCal Challenge (April 10), falling to Clemson in the morning before edging Notre Dame in the afternoon in Marina del Rey, Calif...rowed bow seat in a first-place finish in Dexter Lake, Ore., against Oregon State and San Diego (April 17)...stroked the V4+ in a crosstown rivalry race against USC (May 1)...also stroked the V4+ at Pac-10 Championships, helping UCLA finish third in its V4+ race and fifth overall at the conference championships...rowed three seat in the V4+ at the NCAA Championships (May 28-30)...finished fourth in the V4+ elimination heat on day one before posting a last-place finish in the repechage later that day...rebounded with a second-place finish in the V4+ Third Final on the final day.

Split time rowing in varsity eight and four crews as a sophomore...rowed three seat in the third eight crew in a season-opening dual-meet victory against Loyola Marymount (March 8)...rowed three seat in the 2V8+ in a dual-meet win versus San Diego State (March 15)...rowed three seat at the Pac-10 Challenge (March 29-30) and at the San Diego Crew Classic (April 5-6)...helped lead the Bruins' 2V8+ to a second-place finish on day one of the San Diego Crew Classic...rowed two seat in the V4+ at the Stanford Invitational, helping lead the varsity four to first-place finishes against Victoria and Central Florida...rowed two seat in the V4+ against USC (May 3) and at the Pac-10 Championships (May 18).

Rowed in the novice eight boat in three events as a freshman...rowed five seat in the N8+ `B' crew, leading the Bruins to first-place finishes on back-to-back weekends against Loyola Marymount (March 10) and San Diego State (March 17)...rowed third seat in the regatta against USC, leading the second N8+ `B' crew to a second-place finish behind the Bruins' `A' crew.
High School
Three-year varsity letterwinner in cross-country and track and field for head coach Greg Hart...established school records in the 5000-meter, the 2000-meter steeplechase and the 3000-meter (all in 2006)...finished second on the all-time list with a mark of 19 minutes, 17 seconds at the Bellarmine-Jefferson Invitational (cross-country) in 2005...earned first-team All-Alpha League honors in 2005 and second-team accolades in 2003 and 2004 (cross-country)...earned XC team MVP honors in 2005 and track distance MVP accolades in 2006.
