Competed in the novice eight crew through the majority of UCLA's spring season...rowed five seat in the 3V8+ crew in a dual-meet victory against Loyola Marymount (March 6)...rowed five seat in the N8+ `A' crew in a dual-meet win over San Diego State (March 13)...rowed five seat in the N8+ at the San Diego Crew Classic, leading UCLA to a first-place finish on day one and a second-place finish on day two (in six-boat heats)...stroked the N8+ at the SoCal Challenge (April 10), leading the Bruins past Notre Dame in the afternoon session...stroked the N8+ at Dexter Lake, Ore., to a second-place finish against two boats from Oregon State (April 17)...stroked the N8+ to a victory over USC (May 1) in the annual crosstown regatta...stroked the N8+ at Pac-10 Championships (May 16), finishing sixth in the race as UCLA registered a fifth-place team finish.
