B. Pre-Enrollment in Classes: Student-athletes may pre-enroll by telephone each quarter prior to regular enrollment. This allows great class flexibility around practice and playing seasons.
C. Major Selection Workshops: UCLA students have up to two years to declare from over 100 majors. Workshops are held each quarter to identify areas of interest.
D. Honors Program/Study Abroad: Many student-athletes participate in the College Honors program taking specialized seminars and classes. Each quarter UCLA provides the opportunity to study overseas in a "Study Abroad" program in over 60 countries.
E. Career Pathing/Job Placement: UCLA's Career Center conducts seminars each quarter to provide a realistic orientation towards prospective careers. Areas of help include developing a resume, applying to graduate school, mastering interview techniques and the availability of part-time jobs and internships.
F. Final Score: Final Score allows former UCLA student-athletes, who have completed their eligibility, to return to campus with the same benefits as during their undergraduate career and finish their degree. This program is specifically designed for professional athletes in their off-seasons and athletes who leave early for Olympic careers.
G. Media/Interview Techniques: UCLA's Sports Information Office prepares student-athletes for the television, newspaper or radio interviews they will encounter. UCLA also produces "UCLA Bruin Talk" on cable television.
H. Professional Agent Information: Any athlete considering a career in professional sports is eligible to meet with a panel of experts from the School of Law and Anderson School of Management to discuss his/her future.
