    • MET-Rx UCLA Student-Athlete of the Week

    Senior flanker Danny Farmer (Los Angeles, CA/Loyola HS) of the UCLA football team was selected the MET-Rx UCLA Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of Oct. 4-10.

    Farmer enjoyed the second-best game in school history with a career-best 196 receiving yards and seven catches in the Bruins' 34-29 victory over Oregon Oct. 9. Farmer had touchdown receptions of 65 and 11 yards and also had a non-scoring grab of 48 yards on the first play of the third quarter. Overall, four of his seven receptions measured at least 23 yards, and three accounted for at least 31 yards.

    The pre-season All-American and Biletnikoff Award candidate moved into third place on UCLA's career receptions list with 146. He also moved into third on the Pac-10's career receiving yardage list with 2,847 yards.

    Farmer is a 3.06 honor roll student majoring in History.
