Played in 35 games for the Holyoke Blue Sox of the New England Collegiate League...batted .257 with one home run, two triples, five doubles, 16 RBI and 14 runs...also made one pitching appearance in relief, tossing one scoreless inning and recording two strikeouts...played for Holyoke alongside UCLA teammate Ryan Deeter...Holyoke went 16-26 overall, finishing in fifth place in the Western Division of the New England Collegiate League.

Played in two games, making two appearances as a pinch-hitter...went 0-for-1 in pinch-hit appearances at Texas A&M Corpus Christi (March 12) and against Oral Roberts (March 21).

2009 (summer)
Started 38 games for the Folsom Pioneers of the West Coast League Tri-State...ranked second on the team with a .336 batting average and tied for the team lead with six home runs...also collected a team-leading 13 doubles, two triples, 36 RBI and 46 runs...posted a .409 on-base percentage...Folsom went 24-29 in the West Coast League Tri-State.

Three-year varsity baseball letterwinner at Menlo-Atherton High School under head coach Michael Amoroso...also was a two-year football letterwinner (tight end, punter)...on the baseball field, earned first-team All-Peninsula Athletic League (PAL) Bay Division honors and first-team all-county accolades as a junior and senior...named a first-team selection by the San Mateo Daily News his junior and senior seasons...batted .368 with 12 home runs and 34 RBI as a senior; total of 12 home runs established a new single-season school record previously held by current Arizona Diamondbacks' manager Bob Melvin...registered a 0.59 ERA in 47.0 innings, logging 51 strikeouts and 37 walks...on the mound, allowed just one home run in 168 at-bats and 12 hits in 47 innings...named the most valuable player at the 2008 Cordova Tournament...in a tournament game against Rio Linda (March 19), pitched a no-hitter, allowing one unearned run and totaling nine strikeouts in seven innings, and hit one home run...as a junior, hit .429 with 10 homers, 29 RBI and 24 runs...compiled a 4.25 ERA in 26.1 innings, recording 24 strikeouts and 19 walks...joined the varsity team for the final game of the season as a sophomore (2006); had one at-bat in the game, belting a three-run pinch-hit home run at Menlo School, helping Menlo-Atherton win the game and send the team into the CIF Central Coast Section playoffs...finished his career with 23 career home runs, the most in school history in the modern era...on the football field caught two touchdowns in five games as a senior (missed majority of season with mononucleosis)...as a junior, caught three touchdowns and totaled 400 yards receiving...averaged 45 yards per punt...completed all three pass attempts for 130 yards.
