Cid was a four-year letterwinner at Tracy High School in Tracy, California โฆ ranked as the No. 9 recruit in the nation by Extra Inning Softball and No. 11 by FloSoftball โฆ Premier Girls Fastpitch (PGF) Western Region All-American and a participant in the 2018 PGF High School All-American Game โฆ three-time Tri-City Athletics League MVP hit a whopping .534 in 116 career games with 25 home runs, 49 doubles, 11 triples, 166 RBI and a .603 on-base percentage โฆ a first team all-state selection as a senior in 2018 after hitting .564 with nine homers, eight doubles, four triples, 41 RBI and a .660 on-base percentage โฆ led Tracy to its first CIF San Joaquin Section DI title, blasting two homers in the section title clincher versus Sheldon High School โฆ set a Tracy single-season record with 55 RBI as a junior while hitting .593 with eight homers, 13 doubles and three triples.
