Prior To UCLA - Attended UCSB for one year before transferring to Orange Coast College where she was the OCC Athlete of the Year in 2011 ... Also named the Orange Empire Conference Track and Cross Country Athlete of the Year ... Set an OCC 3k course record (9:47) ... Was the national leader in the 1500 and 5k at the junior college level in 2011 ... Was also the state leader for junior colleges in the 1500m, 3k, 50 and 10k.
High School - Earned varsity letters in track and cross country all four years at Woodbridge HS ... Also played three years of varsity soccer ... Three-time All-CIF honoree in cross country ... All-league honoree in track and cross country all four years ... 2006 CIF Div. II 800m champion ... Also ran on the CIF champion 4x400m relay in 2008, where her team won the overall CIF crown ...
