Did not compete during the indoor season… Ran four races in the outdoor campaign… At the USC Dual Meet - his lone 3000m race of the season - he placed fourth (9:00.57) as the Bruins claimed the top five spots in the event… Ran three 3000m steeplechase races, including a season-best … Placed ninth at the Pac-12 Championships in the steeplechase.

Appeared in all five meets during the 2023 (Cross Country) campaign … Was the top scorer for the Bruins in three of these appearances … Made his postseason debut at the Pac-12 Championships in October, running a 24:23.9 for 47th place and was the fastest Bruin on the day … Also was the top scorer for UCLA (30:36.5) at the NCAA West Regionals, placing 63rd overall …

Ran two races for the Bruins in the 2023 outdoor track and field season, both at the USC Dual Meet on April 30… Posted a 4:00.66 to place sixth in the 400m race, and ran a 8:54.82 in the 3000m for another sixth-place finish.

Competed in a pair of meets as a true freshman this past season … Made his UCLA debut at the Mammoth Tri-Meet, where he finished fourth overall with a 5k time of 17:03. … Took 68th place at the Dellinger Invitational, crossing with an 8k time of 24:27.4.

Coming off a shortened 2020 cross country season that saw him earn victories in each of his three races, including a win at the Sunset League Finals with a three-mile time of 15:59.6 … Junior season in 2019 included a second-place finish at the CIF-SS Finals and a 10th-place showing at the CIF State Meet … It was the second top-20 finish at State in his career, as he secured 18th place on the 5k course in 2018 … Picked up a couple of PRs this past track season in 2021, going 4:11.82 in the 1600m for Laguna Beach at the Meet of Champions and securing a time of 9:02.03 at the California State Track & Field Championships … Finished fourth in the 3200m at the CIF-SS Division 3 Finals (9:25.62) as a sophomore in 2019.

Born in Santa Monica, Calif., to parents Juan and Maria Bianchi … Has an older sister, Laura, and two younger brothers, Lucas and Pablo … Decided to attend UCLA because of the great combination of athletics and academics … Lists winning the 4x1600m relay with his team at the Arcadia Invitational as his greatest athletic thrill.
