Tracy Sokoler is in her 11th season with UCLA Athletics and currently serves as the Associate Athletic Trainer. She works directly with the women’s gymnastics team and oversees care for the women’s rowing program.

Tracy has been a part of the UCLA Sports Medicine team since 2014, previously supporting the track and field, cross country, and women’s basketball teams. In her current role, she also contributes to department-wide initiatives as a board member of the Sports Medicine Internship Program (SMIP) and is active in the UCLA Athletics Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) Committee, as well as the Student-Athlete Latino Spanish Association (SALSA).

Before joining UCLA, Tracy worked at Cal State Northridge (CSUN) from 2013–2015, where she supported the women’s water polo and cross country teams while earning her Master’s degree in Kinesiology with a focus on Biomechanics.

She holds a B.S. in Athletic Training from Northeastern University and has gained extensive hands-on experience through internships and clinical rotations with teams across several sports, including ice hockey, football, ballet, and volleyball.

Tracy is a certified athletic trainer through the Board of Certification (BOC) and a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA). She also holds additional certifications in Blood Flow Restriction Therapy (BFR), Functional Movement Screen (FMS), and Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA).

Originally from Texas, Tracy now lives in Calabasas, California, with her husband, Ben, their son, Wesley, and their two German Shepherds, Reese and Chili.
