Patrick Murphy begins his third season as UCLA’s assistant coach in 2022-23.
Murphy competed for the UCLA men’s golf program from 2015-19, posting four top 10 finishes and a 74.18 scoring average over 102 rounds in 35 events during his playing career.
Murphy averaged a career-best 71.6 strokes per round his senior season and was a total of 10-under in first round play. His 8-under 63 ranks tied for third on UCLA’s all-time best 18-hole score list.
The Crossfield, Alberta, Canada native graduated from UCLA in 2019 with a degree in political science.
