Max Hammer enters his seventh season with UCLA tennis, serving as director of operations for both programs each of the past four years. He joined the men's team in 2013-14 before taking on the same role with the women in 2015-16.
Hammer arrived at UCLA after attending Gonzaga University, graduating Cum Laude in 2011. He majored in sport management at Gonzaga with a minor in public relations.
Hammer attended Notre Dame High School in Sherman Oaks, Calif. He played quarterback for the Knights' football team, and shared the outfield on the baseball team with current MLB standout Giancarlo Stanton.
Hammer is currently pursuing options to further his education and one day hopes to be an athletic director at the collegiate level.
