Summer 2022
Akabane shot a +6, 152 (77-75) at the U.S. Women’s Amateur at Chambers Bay on Aug. 8-9 … qualified for the event at the Country Club of Salisbury with a -4, 67.

2021-22
Akabane competed in 10 events and 27 rounds, posting a 74.0 average score … posted one top 10 finish at The Blessings Collegiate Invitational (T-4th; +1, 217) and three other top 20 finishes at the Molly Collegiate Invitational (T-14th; +8, 224), The Gold Rush (T-13th; +10, 226) and the Chambers Bay Invitational (T-17th; +11, 227) … shot her lowest round of the season with a 2-under 70 in round two at Chambers Bay (April 11) … shot a 1-under 71 in the first round of the NCAA Championships (May 20) … 24/27 counting score rounds.
